TRADITIONAL ECOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE (TEK) PROGRAM

One of our most popular programs is our guided traditional ecological knowledge (TEK) hike around the Tomaquag grounds and, as appropriate, the beautiful Arcadia Management Area abutting our property.  In addition to a guided museum program, guests explore Indigenous plants and discover their uses in the traditional life ways of the Narragansett People. TEK is available April-November and we highly recommend choosing a different add-on option as a back up in case of poor weather.
