The Pursuit of Happiness, an indigenous view, is a documentary produced in 2005. It features interviews with various members of the Narragansett tribal community who discuss their spiritual connection to to the land, and their ancestors. There are discussions by members about the difficulties accessing the various waterways in the area which are considered sacred sites by the Narragansett people. The struggles to simply walk around traditional areas once occupied by Narragansett ancestors now blocked by private land owners, and tribal philosophy about the use of land.

This film also looks at continued hardships encountered by Narraganset tribal members interacting with the State and Federal governments over economic sovereignty.  Some members feel that the word "sovereignty" is an empty word.
